Summer Shipping may result in additional shipping charges. We will advise you of any such charges prior to shipment. Someone will need to be there to sign for the package. Please also be advised we may have to hold shipment to avoid week end or holiday delays, but if we do we will advise you in advance.
Please note that warm temperatures will melt chocolate, it will not impact the quality taste, unlike moisture it Can Harm Chocolate!
In fact chocolate may be "reused" (melted and remelted) literally hundreds of time. During the warm weather season (normally May through September) we recommend you consider the following shipping options: 1. Southern States/Region - Ship Next Day Air 2. Other Areas - Ship 2nd Day Delivery. Adams Chocolate with Healthy Cocoa butter begins to soften at around 75 F; it melts at around 97 F. Chocolate melts at about body temperature (about 100 F; or 36 C); and it begins to readily soften below that (around 80 F or 26 C). We include specially engineered low temperature Gel-packs with your chocolate shipment to further retard the effects of warmer temperatures and that is an Extra Charge
